Northwest

My experience up here at northwest has been a somewhat good experience. I like the classes i think that most of the teachers or cool and are willing to help you. But its just the town that we live in. Maryville is a small town in Missouri. With not that many people. The only stores that we have is wal-mart, maurices, payless, hy-vee, dollar general....which gives the students nowhere to go shopping. We dont have a taco bell, ihop, or dennys..not a variety of food places. One movie theater that doesnt show all of the movies that come out.So i think that if they just came up with a mall they would get more students to come to school here, and keep me from going home every weekened.

My future

When I grow i have alot of plans for my life. My first goal in life is to graduate from college and get my degree in nursing so I can start my career in nursing. My other goals that I have is to get married to taht special person. Then i hope to have two kids at the most im only planning on one GIRL! I always wanted a little girl so that i could do her hair and dress her up in little pretty clothes. I want to make enough money so that i can take care of my family and help them out and give them some payback for all the tings they did for me.

Nursing

What I want to when I grow up is be a pediatrition. I want to be a pediatrition because I love kids, and I love helping them when they are not feeling good. Ever since I was little helping out with my aunts daycare i liked taking care of kids. I just seems that if you just be patient with them you can understand what they want. Then you will understand better how to understand kids. I also wanted to be a nurse also because of the good pay that they give the nurses. So when i hopefully graduate in 2011 I will be headed towards my career of being a pediatrition.

getting organized

During my first semester of college I dont think i was very organized so when it came down to having to take test or quiz. I would have to find all my notes from different parts of my bag sometimes i wouldnt be able to find somethin that i needed so i would be missing information. So I know that next semester i am going to get me a organizer so i can have all my notes together so when im taking a quiz or test i will be able to have y stuff together and be able to improve my grades.

Miss Black and gold pageant

This year I decided that i was going to be in the Miss black and gold pageant which is a scholarship pageant. The pageant has five scenes. which includes the introduction which is all of the contestanst doing some kind of skit. that relates to the theme of the pageant.the rest of the scenes are done solo. the second scene is the business scene which you dress up in business atire. the third scene was talent. My talent was Praise dancing. The fourth scene was the swimsuit scene, and the fifth was the formal scene. For each scene each contestant could pick the music that they wanted to walk to. all together i think it was a good experience even though i didnt win. :(

finals

Today i to take a final and i wasnt happy about it. My teacher gave us a study guide that is usually ment to help students understand what is going to be on the test. I study the study guide and when i got my test only about 5 things that were on the study guide were on the test. I dont think that a teacher should give you a study test if its not going to be on the test or even be related to the things that is going to be on the test.

The cost of washing

During my freshman year of college we had to pay for washing. it cost i think 1.50. for each week i was using quite bit of money to wash. so i would start just taking my clothes home. So this year we had dont have to pay for washing and neiter does the freshman and i just think that it was just so unfair to us, because we had to payed for washing. it seemed like it was just something that only the freshman had to do because last year the upper class didnt have to pay for washing still.
